Hi, I’m Matthias!
I know what it is like to want to explore faith but feel like I can’t because I’m queer.
I used to believe that the two couldn’t co-exist. Like many people, I was taught the lie that gender and sexual minorities can’t be part of faith communities, and that sexual expression outside of heterosexual marriage is sinful. Yet, when I realized that I was queer, I started digging deeper into these theologies. What I found was people in the church have been gravely wrong. Now, I create resources to help people fight bad theology so that we might live confident and fulfilling lives.
